About the event
Sacred Road warmly invites you to SKY.
We are back for more heart and soul community vibes!
SKY stands for Sound Healing, Kirtan, and Yoga. This event is a combination of 3 sacred practices designed for peace and well-being. We have exceptional facilitators holding space and leading their respective modalities. This culmination of practices profoundly supports deep relaxation and the space for healing to occur.
The program for the evening:
1. YOGA: Movement-based practice designed to open the body, free the mind and centre our emotions to dissolve the heavy burden of life. Leaving us free and ready to receive the deep healing of sound vibrations.
2. SOUND HEALING: Now the body and mind is at ease, prepared to deeply surrender to the soothing sounds and vibrations of Tibetan singing bowls and other traditional sacred instruments. Here our mind and physical body receives the sound healing on a deeper level.
Break: Between the Sound Healing and Kirtan sessions, we will have a 30-minute break to digest and ground the experience so far. During the break, there will be delicious food provided from Ojas Ayurvedic. They are a vegetarian restaurant based in Newtown, Sydney, where they serve all the best Ayurvedic food!!
3. KIRTAN: As we emerge from the deeply healing space, we sing together in Kirtan. Entering the heart space through our voice, together chanting devotional sounds to harmonise the experience. Kirtan deeply transforms our entire body, it is a vehicle to our hearts, and connects us with the brothers and sisters around us, creating a community choir of celebration and compassion.
