Ayurveda
The term Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayur (life) and veda (science or knowledge).
Thus, Ayurveda translates to knowledge of life. It is based upon the nature and living in harmony with it, and encompasses diet, lifestyle, herbs and yoga.
According to Ayurveda, the human body is made up of 5 elements:
Air, Water, Fire, Earth, and Ether
Thus, the physical, emotional, and psychological qualities of humans are defined by these elements and the combination of these 5 elements are defined in three Doshas(energy).
By understanding which body type we belong and following the Ayurvedic diet, one can enhance their personality and achieve better in their life
Ayurvedic medicine is considered the system with the greatest healing potential. Used since time immemorial on the Asian continent, today it is still a great unknown even in the East. It is a powerful way of healing many diseases that conventional medicine has not yet addressed successfully.
