About the event
Sacred Road warmly invites you to SKY.
SKY stands for Sound Healing, Kirtan, and Yoga. This event is a combination of 3 sacred practices designed for peace and well-being. We have exceptional facilitators holding space and leading their respective modalities. This culmination of practices profoundly supports deep relaxation and the space for healing to occur.
SOUND HEALING: Once the body and mind have gone through exertion, there is silence and rest within us. This is when sound healing will begin. Soothing our mind and energetic body on a deeper level.
KIRTAN: Kirtan is devotional singing and chanting, where there is a call and response between the performers and the audience. Kirtan is a way of expressing from our heart space and our voice. This harmony deeply transforms our entire body. It cleanses our thoughts, opens our hearts, and connects us with the brothers and sisters around us, creating a community choir of celebration and compassion.
YOGA: Movement, stretching, freeing, centering, and letting go of physical barriers.
The program outline:
The evening will begin with Yoga led by Goldy. Dynamic, with an aim to shift and move our internal energy, Kundalini Yoga really shakes the practitioner both physically and mentally. Breath work and meditation will also move fluidly during the first segment of the program.
From Yoga, the evening will move into Sound Healing led by Chaitanyashree. Harmonic, gentle overtones will soothe and calm everyone's senses and thoughts. Stilling the mind, the body and all activity, which is a prerequisite to allow deep-healing to activate. After Sound Healing, there will be a short Satsang with Chaitanyashree. Any questions and thoughts can be shared. From here, there will be a short break. Light snacks and tea will be served outside in the break room.
Ending the night in their usual up-lifting, spirited ways, Mantra Te will lead the Kirtan. Chanting together is a deeply, powerful experience that truly needs to be experienced. Connecting hearts, voices and our vibrational being, Kirtan and its call and response opens a space where everyone can sing openly and personally.
Introducing our performers:
Chaitanyashree (Kundalini Healing Therapies)
Chaitanyashree is a Sound Therapist, Healer, and Teacher. Â Chaitanyashree has been working with Sound since 1998 and his first healing centre was established in Kathmandu, Nepal in 2010. In 2015, he established his Kundalini healing centre in Newtown, Australia.
He specialises in sound healing, meditation, and working with the metaphysical elements of the energy system to support health and healing. Undoubtedly, he is one of the most advanced sound and vibrational healers in Australia at present. His style of treatment and techniques are based on the ancient Vedic understanding of energy healing, which originates from the Himalayan regions of India, Nepal  & Tibet.
He provides individual sessions, groups, ceremonies and training in his therapeutic techniques and has a huge range of singing bowls, gongs, and other healing tools for sale.
Mantra Te
Mantra Te is a collaborative musical project, combines the ancient practices of traditional chanting and Kirtan with a contemporary twist. Â Â Grounded in the origins of Vedic traditional mantras, Tao influences, and worldly cultural inclusions, Mantra Te infuses a broad variety of styles and genres in this modern-day rendition of devotional music.Â
With members from four different corners of the world, Mantra Te  incorporates the perspective that all walks of life can sing, dance,  play and live in harmony together.

The practice is given through specifically  designed sets of exercises targeted to specific outcomes and intended to  work on all levels of being.
