About the event

Sacred Road warmly invites you to SKY.

We are back for more heart and soul community vibes!

SKY stands for Sound Healing, Kirtan, and Yoga.

This event is a combination of 3 sacred practices designed for peace and well-being. We have exceptional facilitators holding space and leading their respective modalities. This culmination of practices profoundly supports deep relaxation and the space for healing to occur.

YOGA: Movement based practice designed to open the body, free the mind and center our emotions to dissolve the heavy burden of life. Leaving us free and ready to recevie the deep healing of sound vibrations.

SOUND HEALING: Now the body and mind is at ease, prepared to deeply surrender to the soothing sounds and vibrations of tibetan singing bowls and other  traditional sacred instruments. Here our mind and physical body receives the sound healing on a deeper level.

KIRTAN: As we emerge from the deeply healing space, we sing together in Kirtan. Entering the heart space through our voice, together chanting devotional sounds to harmonise the experience. Kirtan deeply transforms our entire body, it is a vehicle to our hearts, and connects us with the brothers and sisters around us, creating a community choir of celebration and compassion.

Break: Between the Sound Healing and Kirtan sessions we will have a 30 minute break to digest and ground the experience so far. During the break there will be delicious food provided from Ojas Ayurvedic. They are a vegetarian restaruant based in Newtown, Sydney where they serve all the best Ayurvedic food!!

He specializes in sound healing, meditation, and working with the metaphysical elements of the energy system to support health and healing. Undoubtedly, he is one of the most advanced sound and vibrational healers in Australia at present. His style of treatment and techniques are based on the ancient Vedic understanding of energy healing, which originates from the Himalayan regions of India, Nepal  & Tibet. He provides individual sessions, groups, ceremonies, and training in his therapeutic techniques and has a huge range of singing bowls, gongs, and other healing tools for sale.

Goldy Das - Yoga

The teachings of yoga for Goldy are a container for transformation.  Goldy has been a certified Yoga instructor for over 8 years, learning under living masters of the traditional Kundalini Hatha Yoga lineages. Goldy’s light-hearted and friendly nature combined with his experiential understanding of traditional yoga offers an accessible and approachable way for students to discover the power of Yoga.

When practiced regularly, Kundalini Hatha Yoga can strengthen the nervous system, balance the glandular system, and harness the energy of the mind, emotions, and body. The practice is offered in a kriya style of exercises targeted to specific outcomes and intended to work on multiple levels of being.

Mantra Te

Mantra Te is a collaborative musical project, that combines the ancient , practices of traditional chanting and Kirtan with a contemporary twist.   Grounded in the origins of Vedic traditional mantras, Tao influences,  and worldly cultural inclusions, Mantra Te infuses a broad variety of styles and genres in this modern-day rendition of devotional music. With members from four different corners of the world, Mantra Te incorporates the perspective that all walks of life can sing, dance,  play and live in harmony together.
